What you’ll do:
- Manage and lead a team of Compounding Technicians
- Set clear, specific productivity and quality expectations
- Comply with USP <795>, <797> and <800>, as applicable to position. Assist PIC and support staff selecting drugs from stock for dispensing and compounding preparations.
- Provide regular feedback to PIC.
- Identify and recommend improvements to formulations.
- Maintain the highest level of quality.
- Apply mathematical operations to various pharmacy functions.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Knowledge of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
- Supervise technicians and support personnel. Develop team members through formal coaching and individualized and targeted feedback
- Ensure patient and company information remains confidential
- Adhere to all applicable company policies and state/federal regulations
- Collaborate interdepartmentally to provide, or ask for, assistance regarding compounding or staffing as dictated by business needs.
- Responsible for ensuring all applicable laws, regulations, and standard operating procedures are adhered to within the department.
Who you are:
- Proven ability to lead by example, communicate with and motivate team members.
- Ability to monitor and obtain compliance with organizations policies and expectations

What you’ve done:
- Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy and licensed in good standing with the California State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacist.
- 2 years experience managing the efforts of others in a pharmacy lab setting
- 2-5 years of compounding experience
