The Sales Operations Specialist executes and coordinates sales and operations activities and initiatives to drive results. This includes using Salesforce and territory planning tools to partner with field leaders to determine where, when and how the company should optimize territory assignments to drive profitable growth. Support regional and local sales and operations leadership in decision-making by providing data-driven insights and analysis on market opportunities, sales/service territory design, and customer/prospect allocation across the field sales and account service teams.
What you'll do:
- Oversees data integrity of account level data, including account assignments
- Manages exception reporting and executes resolution/clean-up of data.
- Monitors reporting for sales recognition programs to include documentation and execution of winner payouts.
- Coordinates and monitors ongoing vendor incentive relationships including obtaining and verifying approvals and tracking through process outlined by leadership.
- Support regional and local sales and operations leadership in decision-making by providing data-driven insights and analysis on market opportunities, sales/service territory design, and customer/prospect allocation across the field sales and account service teams.
- Facilitate decision-making by modeling potential scenarios for allocation of people, customers and prospects
- Drive ad hoc analyses to inform decision-making of sales and operations leaders
- Identify and actively pursue opportunities to drive iterative improvement in all areas (e.g., process, tools, policies)
- Partner with Salesforce engineering team to implement territory assignments
- Own day to day territory management tasks including account reassignment requests
- Compile and analyze data to identify trends that support sales force productivity and operational improvements.
- Safeguards all customer, employee and company proprietary and personal information, ensuring customer and employee data is kept confidential at all times.
- Partners and communicates effectively with key leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the Salesforce development team and leadership to identify applications/functionality within the sales platform (CRM) that would drive efficiencies and sales growth
- Generates ad-hoc reports
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and assists managers/partners on sales support-related activities
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years sales- or customer account-related
- 2+ years of CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
- Strong computer and database understanding and skillset
- Strong analytical and critical thinking, as well problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills with senior leaders
- Strong understanding of the sales process and overall Sales business acumen
- Continuous improvement mindset & good interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Analytical with ability to go back and forth between big picture and detail
- Good organizational skills, detail oriented in the execution and follow-up of work
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as well as balance and execute against multiple projects/priorities simultaneously
- Takes initiative and is proactive

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed, and may not be applicable to other locations.
Minnesota: [$58,500-70,250]
