Primary Duties and Responsibilities:- Summary/objective-The Manager of Payroll Systems and Special Projects will be responsible for managing and optimizing our payroll system (SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll) and timekeeping system (Infor Workforce Management) and overseeing Payroll's involvement in Projects. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processes, system integrations, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Essential functions-
- Oversee the administration and maintenance of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and Infor Workforce Management systems.
- Plans and organizes Payroll's role on cross-functional projects.
- Assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
- Manage payroll-related reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with HR, Accounting, and IT departments to ensure seamless integration and functionality of payroll systems.
- Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide support on all year-end activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve payroll processes and systems.
- Supervisory responsibilities-Manages 1 Sr. Payroll Specialist.
- Position type and expected hours of work-Full-time.
- Travel-Minimal travel required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in Payroll Management.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Manager.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and Infor Workforce Management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
