Senior Policy Analyst HCBS/PASRR
Falls Church, VA/Hybrid

MUST:
Experienced Senior Policy Analyst HCBS/PASRR (Hybrid)
Prior experience in the areas of CMS, long-term services and supports, home and community-based services (HCBS)
Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR), aging, and disability policy at the state or Federal level required.
Working knowledge of home and community-based services and supports policies, regulations, and practices.
Working knowledge of PASRR policies, regulations, and practices.
System transformation experience to achieve an enhanced state Medicaid system and increase access to home and community-based long-term services and supports (LTSS).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
Requires at least 7 years of state government experience, with a minimum of 3 years program/project management.
Requires at least 7 years of experience designing, developing and implementing Medicaid LTSS/PASRR.
Bachelor s degree in public health, policy, or related field preferred.
Some travel required

DUTIES:
Interpreting policy and regulations to develop tools and resources that assist states with implementation.
Providing direct technical assistance to states on a variety of CMS programs and policies.
Developing issue papers, tools, and resources for technical assistance, training, and dissemination.
Policy analysis and development.
Working knowledge of home and community-based services and supports policies, regulations, and practices.
Working knowledge of PASRR policies, regulations, and practices.
