Job Summary: This is an entry-level Account Manager role. In this role, you will support the Private Client Group (PCG) Account Management team with the servicing of their accounts. You will assist them with their day-to-day client servicing. This entails a great deal of verbal, electronic and other written communications. You will assist them with the renewal and marketing process and prepare materials for presentations and communications. Work is completed with a significant amount of independent discretion. While in this role, you should be developing relationships with all stakeholders and work proactively to effectively and efficiently deliver services. You will have mentorship by the account management teams to support your growth.
This is a full-time role with the flexibility of a hybrid schedule from our Alpharetta, GA office. We will consider a remote opportunity for experienced and P&C licensed candidates, who can work on EST work hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with the remarketing process as part of the renewal process.
- Works proactively to develop relationships with carrier and client contacts; may take an active role in meetings.
- Prepare and send the request for proposals to applicable insurance carriers and spreadsheets results as they come in.
- Review annual client reviews for accuracy in collaboration with the Account Management Team.
- Begins to communicate directly with carriers with approval from the Account Management Team.
- Creates and maintains client files in accordance with office procedures. May be responsible for keeping client policy records in the agency management system.
- Assist team with answering billing questions from clients and insurance company personnel with assistance from Accounting Dept. when necessary.
- Will assist with answering main phone line.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
- Ability to successfully interact with a variety of people and function well both in a team environment and autonomously
- Ability to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional manner
- Customer-focused to establish and maintain effective relationships
- Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadline
- Fluency with EPIC and carrier systems preferred
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Sharp attention to detail, decision making skills, and problem resolution
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities, deadlines and technology
Education and/or Experience:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree or other education and training is preferred
- More than 2 years’ client service and/or industry and product line experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- P&C Insurance License required upon hire

The base salary range for this position is $41,000.00 – $70,000.00. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
