Job Description

Job Summary –

A strong battle-tested QA Automation Engineer and has experience working with Test Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Robot, Appium, Junit, PyTest, etc.)

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer Automation Tester with a specialization in Data Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data-intensive environments, particularly in batch-process/ETL oriented systems. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the quality and reliability of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data-intensive applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data-centric systems.(e. g. – ETL Talend, Hadoop, PySpark, Pl/ Sql etc.)

Years of experience needed –

 6+ years of experience working as a Test Engineer or similar role

 6+ years of experience working with Test Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Robot, Appium, Junit, PyTest, etc.)

 Data-centric Testing experience (e. g. – ETL Talend, Hadoop, PySpark, Pl/ Sql etc.)

Technical Skills:

 6+ years of experience working as a Test Engineer or similar role

 6+ years of experience working with Test Automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Robot, Appium, Junit, PyTest, etc.)

 Hands-on experience building/extending Test Automation frameworks

 Good to have experience with databases/SQL to extract, load, manipulate and analyze complex data to identify patterns/trends and draw conclusions

 Good to have experience with web service technologies (e.g., XML, REST, SOAP)

 Good to have 2+ years of experience with Java, Python or JavaScript development (intermediate - advanced level)

 Experience with BDD or TDD

 Automated Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks (e.g., PySpark, Scala+Spark) to validate data processing pipelines, ETL workflows, and batch-oriented systems.

 Data Validation: Implement comprehensive testing strategies to validate data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across various stages of data processing, including extraction, transformation, and loading.

 Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results. Communicate findings, defects, and testing progress effectively to stakeholders.

 Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing objectives and priorities.

 Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience
