Manufacturing Planner will be responsible for:
* Oversight and providing status reporting on the manufacturing build of various parts through the build process.
* Performing tasks related production activities that will be required throughout the component build cycle.
Position provides an ongoing real time status of components and driving parts to completion.
Responsibilities include:
* Monitoring schedules, planning, engineering, rework, test and other manufacturing task centers.
* Maintaining production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost.
* Expediting and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements.
* Coordinating with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule.
* Coordinating with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements.
* Maintaining MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.

Basic Qualifications:
* Inventory Control, supply chain, logistics, and/or material handling knowledge.
* Knowledge of SAP, SFM, MRP, & / or other Inventory Management Software.
* Microsoft Office, proficient in Microsoft Excel
Desired Skills:
* Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing.
* Very good organization and communication skills.
* Past experience with Production Control
* Green belt six sigma trained and or certified.
* Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists.
* Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, peers, a represented workforce.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $55,100 - $105,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $63,500 - $119,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
