





We are looking for a Director, Americas Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Demand Planning to lead and manage the IBP and demand planning processes for the Americas region. This role ensures alignment between sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to develop accurate forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and drive profitable growth. The Director will lead a team of planners, driving continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy and IBP effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the monthly IBP cycle for the Americas region, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring alignment on key business drivers and assumptions.
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts, utilizing statistical models, historical data, market intelligence, and input from sales and marketing.
Manage and mentor a team of demand planners and analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Analyze demand patterns, identify trends, and proactively communicate risks and opportunities to key stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to enhance planning capabilities.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure alignment between demand plans and production/inventory plans.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecasting accuracy, inventory levels, and IBP effectiveness.
Present demand plans and IBP recommendations to senior management, providing insights and supporting data.
Support the development and implementation of S&OP/IBP strategies and initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of IBP/S&OP processes and best practices
- Proven ability to develop and implement accurate demand forecasts using statistical modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning software (e.g., SAP).
- APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus
