Job Title: Pre-Press & Production ManagerLocation: Van Nuys, CA  Schedule: Hybrid (4 days/week onsite in Van Nuys, 1 day/week remote)  Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire  Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000   Our CPG Client is seeking a Pre-Press & Production Manager. This role is hybrid, with 4 days onsite in Van Nuys and 1 day remote. You will be responsible for working directly with the Pre-Press & Production Director to manage and execute high-quality production packaging files and render CADs. Projects will range from individual new products, line extension items for existing brands and re-order items. Ideally you will be able to "hit the ground running" and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

•  Prepare digital design files for print production, often under tight deadlines.
•  Manage the workflow of incoming requests and move projects from the design stage to final products.
•  Create high-quality product renderings (photoshop)
•  Reviewing in-house proofing of other designer's projects as well as vendor digital proofs
•  Interacting with the Production Artists on the team, managing projects, and creating department reports.

 WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

•  Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, pre-press standards for print
•  Above-average knowledge of Adobe Photoshop (high-quality product renders)
•  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
•  The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for typography, layout (for print), and color separations
•  Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills and tidy file management
•  Experience in pre-press standards/techniques and defining print specifications and finishes
•  Driven by super-fine details, able to work quickly and independently
