Description:

We are seeking three skilled and experienced Skills Framework Consultants to join our team. One contractor should be the lead, driving the project plan, while the other two are focused on execution.

Overall the contractors will be responsible for designing developing and managing a comprehensive and client-specific skills ontology inclusive of skill definitions and proficiency descriptions. These contractors will also be responsible for partnering with business leaders to benchmark target skill proficiencies for all roles for the client. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders conducting detailed analyses and implementing best practices to ensure the ontology remains relevant and effective.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience developing and managing skills taxonomies, competency mapping, job Architecture, or similar activities in mid-size or larger firms
  2. Strong understanding of HR processes, learning and development frameworks, and talent management strategies
  3. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret complex data to make informed decisions
  4. Proficient in using skills taxonomy management tools and software
  5. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  6. Ability to maintain through documentation and records to support internal governance and audit processes.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders.
  8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and timeliness
  9. Ability to deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs

Desired

  1. Prior experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence applications in skills ontology development
  2. Knowledge of industry-specific skills and competencies
  3. Certification in Project Manager (PMP) or related credentials

Responsibilities

  • -Develop a detailed scalable flexible and comprehensive skills ontology tailored to the organizations needs leveraging existing client skills data where applicable.
  • -Develop role profiles for all existing client jobs inclusive of the skills and relative proficiency level required for an individual to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the role.
  • -Validate role profiles for all existing client jobs inclusive of the skills and relative proficiency level with business unit leaders to obtain final sign-off.
  • -Facilitate meetings to gather input and drive consensus on changes and updates.
  • -Implement governance processes to manage changes and develop a sustainable process for maintenance of role profiles.
  • -Provide training and support to stakeholders on the use and benefits of the skills framework.
  • -Work closely with HR and stakeholders to understand needs and incorporate feedback.
  • -Prepare and present reports on ontology performance and areas for improvement.
  • -Leverage HR systems such as learning management system learning experience platform LXP and other systems to support buildout of role profiles and business unit validation activities.
  • -Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for skills ontology and role profile related issues.
  • -Develop and maintain a project plan for skills ontology development aligning to key LXP project milestones and participate in project update meetings.
  • -Create Standard Operating Procedures and technical reports which document processes decisions and outcomes.
  • PMP certification or related is a huge plus
