Job Types: Full-time

Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

License/Certification: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (Required)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
  • Administer injections or medications as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urine tests and blood draws.
  • Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist with patient education and provide information on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in providing patient care and assisting with medical procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic life support techniques.
  • Ability to perform X-rays or other diagnostic imaging procedures is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service.
