National Grid is hiring aCoordinator, Resource Coordinationfor Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations
Job Purpose
This position supports our Gas Operations business by processing work packages for customer and mandated work. Under the direction of the Manager, you will be responsible for assembling field work packages, printing main work Packages for the Company and Contractor Crews; entering Leaks in CWQ; applying for local town permits, entering dig-safes while maintaining accurate work management statuses in our work management system. For the first 3 months you will be expected to be in the office 5 days a week and depending on your proficiency the position my go hybrid.
Key Accountabilities
- Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Responsible for printing and assembling accurate Main Packages.
- Help Maintain a 90% error free rate.
- Responsible for the data integrity of information entered into the work management system which allows the tracking of all gas work.
- Act as the liaison to the city/town officials to resolve local issues.
- Enter new leaks and upgrade existing leaks into CWQ accurately.
- Apply for dig- safe tickets.
- Apply to municipalities for road opening permits
- Reconcile credit card accurately monthly.
- Adhere to all departmental procedures when processes various work types.
- Support and Participate in the teams Bi-Weekly Hub.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and Experience Required:
- A bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent work experience preferred (3 years)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret gas distribution system information and drawings.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel across the divisions and regions as required (10%)
- Hire location can change due to attrition or productivity.
More Information
Salary - $75,000 - $88,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
