Warehouse Supervisor
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. This position is responsible for providing a high level of ownership, direction, and guidance for the Bradenton Warehouse Team (Shipping, Receiving and Materials Management) to ensure accurate planning, execution, and monitoring of the daily operations in the respective departments. Maintain a focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Environmental, and Labor Efficiency in compliance with the Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action and Attitudes. Primary focus is towards development of department team members' abilities to satisfy customer expectations.
Strict adherence and a commitment to carrying out Corporate and/or local policies, rules, and regulations in these areas is required. An employee in this position must focus on customer expectations and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers, and other employees.
- Oversee all shipping and receiving activities, ensuring efficient flow of materials in and out of the site.
- Coordinates associate job responsibility to maximize labor efficiency to meet customer demand.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders including purchasing, transportation, logistics, customer service, production and planning to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and shipping supplies and, along with plant operations, schedule grid production to achieve agreed inventory levels and customer service levels.
- Responsible for the management, execution and compliance of the cycle count program assuring accurate inventory and stocking levels.
- Accountable for conducting thorough root cause analysis to identify factors contributing to inventory variances.
- Ensure proper record keeping of shipping and receiving documents in accordance with the site record retention policy.
- Communicates metrics, issues, expectations, with other key stakeholders
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.

What do you bring?
- Bachelor's Degree in logistics, business administration, or related field: equivalent work experience may be considered
- 3 + years supervisory experience in warehouse or distribution environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills - strong communicator
- A coach (performance) and mentor (development)
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate positive change
