Adapt Integrated Health Care is currently recruiting for full time Outpatient Therapists to join their Behavioral Health program.

The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) provides integrated outpatient mental health treatment services that are based on medical necessity and that support and promote mental health and recovery. QMHPs endeavor to a) Promote recovery, resiliency, wellness, independence and safety for individuals receiving addictions and mental health services and supports; b) Specify standards for services and supports that are person-directed, client-guided, culturally competent, and trauma-informed and wellness informed; and c) Promote functional and rehabilitative outcomes for individuals throughout a continuum of care that is developmentally appropriate.
QMHPs responsibilities are to engage and respond in crisis intervention; facilitate access for mental health treatment; provide therapeutic interventions including informed consent, advocacy, and integrated care; assist with access to community resources; facilitate development and retention of natural and community supports; provide appropriate individual, group, and community psycho-education; actively work to reduce stigma, barriers, and to build a community foundation for success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related field with experience in a mental health setting.
- Licensed providers preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral form. This pertains to both communications with clients, coworkers, and community partners as well as documentation.
- Knowledge of psychological theory as well as principles and practices of mental health treatment, especially those pertaining to crisis intervention.
- Strong planning and time management skills, including being flexible and adaptive.
