Due to programmatic expansion, we are currently seeking an energetic individual to be a Jail Treatment Program (JTP) Team Lead. Located at the Lake County Jail, The JTP Team Lead provides oversight of day-to-day tasks and service provisions for the incarcerated population. This licensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team. With a Trauma Informed approach, the JTP Team Lead will be a representative for the organization and how we offer integrated services for recovery and mental health. More specifically, this position is responsible for:
- Provides oversight of day-to-day tasks and service provisions for the JTP program.
- Developing, coordinating and managing the programming for JTP and SSP programs.
- Coordinating and managing the daily operations and supervision of the jail treatment program.
- Providing trauma informed mental health and substance abuse services to clients and their family system in the Lake County Adult Detention Facility, including education groups, IOP groups, individual counseling and assessments as needed.
- Providing consultation and collaboration with community partners and clients’ treatment teams.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with courts, probation departments and community stakeholders and other agencies in order to facilitate successful referrals and discharges as necessary.
Position Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work/Mental Health preferred
- Required licensure includes LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health or substance abuse (preferred)
- Must have knowledge and experience in substance use disorders and mental health treatment.
- Experience working with incarcerated population preferred.
