Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Manager/Principal Project Manager. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:

• Maintaining SMT Battle Rhythm through cross-functional integration.

• Supplier facing integration between NG team & Major Subcontractor.

• Coordinating between Systems Engineering, PM&P Engineering, Software Engineering, Design Engineering, Mission Assurance / Quality, and program management.

• Lead on Change Requests throughout SMT Life Cycle.

• Coordination between SMT RE and internal NG Stakeholders for defining requirements of change.

• Identifying correct subcontractor baseline documentation to flow change requests to.

• Creation of TRB/CCB package for baseline control and RFP approval.

• Coordinating with Subcontracts on RFP generation.

• Coordinating with subcontractor and NG Global Supply Chain on Proposal Submission to NG.

• CCB Package Preparation and Processing.

• Coordinating with GSC and subcontractor for negotiation timeline.

• Supporting contract modification negotiations with Subcontractor.

• Travel required up to 25% of time.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:

Project Manager: 2 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 Year with Masters or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

Principal Project Manager: 5 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 Years with Masters 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.

• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in STEM related field.

• Experience on a large, integrated defense program managing major suppliers.

• An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as   determined by the company to meet its business need.

Salary Range: $62,200 - $93,400
Salary Range 2: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
