Overview
Stewardship within Supply Continuity centers around risk analysis and mitigation activities to be faithful stewards over our area of responsibility as well as for the greater CFA. CFA Supply Continuity stewardship activities include commodity analysis & hedging, capacity/contingency planning (CapCon) to support future growth, category/supplier/supply chain risk assessments/analysis/mitigation strategy development, sustainability, risk identification, and diverse supplier development. Through our work, we interact with all our sourcing leads, their suppliers, and the raw materials needed to create finished goods. We require strong analytical skills balanced with creativity to identify, strategize, and communicate our priorities to attain cross-functional support. From our position in the organization, we see a broader picture and from this angle, we can create a more cohesive view of our supply.
The Supply Chain Supply Continuity Analyst, specializing in data analytics and modeling, will be instrumental in leveraging data-driven insights to mitigate risk for supply chain operations. This role involves building and running analytical models, creating visualizations, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure future supply chain continuity.

Responsibilities
Data Modeling and Analysis:
- Develop and implement advanced data models for supply chain analysis
- Utilize statistical methods and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
Visualization and Reporting:
- Design and create interactive visualizations to communicate supply chain performance
- Generate reports and dashboards for key stakeholders
- Implement data visualization best practices for clear and effective communication.
Supplier Data Management:
- Collect and analyze supplier-related data for performance evaluation
- Build predictive models to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance data sharing and analytics capabilities.
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data analytics into decision-making processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility
- Provide training and support on data interpretation and analytics tools
- Knowledge of sourcing/procurement/food service industry preferred
Continuity Planning through Models:
- Develop and implement predictive models for supply chain continuity planning
- Test and validate models to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Update models based on changing business requirements and industry trends.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Stay up to date on emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Implement advanced analytics solutions for ongoing supply chain optimization
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Data Science, Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 4+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Economics, Risk Management, Analytics, or related field
- Proficiency in data analytics and statistical modeling tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
- Relevant certifications in data science, analytics, or supply chain management
