Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for Workforce Edge and Sophia Learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement machine learning models and generative AI solutions to enhance the educational experience.
- Develop and optimize backend services using NodeJS, Python, and related technologies.
- Build and maintain responsive frontend applications using React.
- Work with graph databases such as Neo4J and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP.
- Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and ensure high code quality and performance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge.
- Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Work Experience:
Six plus (6+) years experience in web application design, development, and implementation.
Four plus (4+) years experience with the following required: React JS, Node, and Typescript.
Three plus (3+) years of experience working on cloud-based infrastructure.
RESTful Web Service development and consumption.
Experience with the following is preferred: Test Driven Development, Git, Jira.
Experience working with SaaS-based platforms and technologies.
Cypress knowledge is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Cloud certifications in AWS/GCP architecture/developer/ML a bonus
Other:
Must be able to travel 0-10% of time.
Must be able to lift 25lbs.
Remote work location.
Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
Access information using a computer.
Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.

Strong mental acuity.
