Job Description:
Solution Architect- E-BankingApex Systems is a global IT services provider and our consulting practice has an opening for a Solution Architect- E-Banking who has e-banking and java experience for a Top Five Bank.
Client: Big 5 Bank
Location: Hybrid; 1- 2 days a week in Toronto
Terms: 6 Month Contract, Strong possibility of extension or converting fulltime based on project budget & candidate performance.
Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:
- Seasoned solution architect that has experience in designing enterprise scale applications
- Modern architecture, security and integration patterns, e.g. Microservice, event driven, domain driven design, Oauth, Cloud native concepts
- Java, Spring/Springboot background. Is not required to code but needs to be hands on, able to navigate code and conduct code reviews
- Fluent in communication. Able to articulate technical ideas to both technology and business audience
- Excellent presentation skills: Need to handle management, business, and executive level presentations.
- Collaborative in nature
- Great sense of ownership and responsibility
- Self driven and proactive
- Able to coach and guide development team throughout implementation cycle of the solution.
Expectations:
- Lead and own end to end solution for Digital Technology, from frontend to backend, covering both functional and non-functional aspects.
- Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiency
- Support rest of technology teams throughout the project life cycle in understanding the solution
- Be an active player in consultant community, maintaining consistency across the platform, and adopting best practices
