Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: 12 months

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team as a contingent resource. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience consulting on complex software engineering challenges, working across large-scale initiatives, and delivering solutions that align with client requirements. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by reviewing and resolving complex engineering issues while collaborating closely with internal and client teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult on Large-Scale Software Engineering Initiatives: Work on complex initiatives that have a broad impact, contributing your expertise in planning, strategy, and execution for software engineering efforts.
  • Analyze Multi-Faceted Engineering Challenges: Perform in-depth reviews and analyses of sophisticated software engineering challenges, identifying root causes and formulating effective resolutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Collaborate with teams to address and resolve complex technical situations, ensuring solutions adhere to relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Client Collaboration: Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to deliver on key deliverables, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Technical Skills:

  • ServiceNow Development: Proven experience in ServiceNow platform development, including customization and workflow management.
  • CMDB Fundamentals: Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB) principles and best practices.
  • CSDM Knowledge: Familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) and its applications within ServiceNow.
  • Custom App Development: Experience developing custom applications to meet specific business needs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to identify and resolve multi-faceted engineering issues.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and client personnel.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks for software development.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
