Job Description:

Shipping / Receiving Clerk
Coordinates and executes the shipping and receiving functions. This position is key for the success of the back-end business operations.
The shipping/receiving clerk is responsible for the correct receival of customer material, and the flawless shipment of customer product
Responsibilities:
• Notify ready for process, completion and or shipment
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, bend, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, talk and hear, good vision abilities required for close vision and to adjust focus
• Basic computer skills required for Data Entry
• Build boxes as required; relative to type/s of shipments that are processed
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area
• Willing and able to work overtime including weekends when necessary
• Observe safety procedures including but not limited to wearing proper safety equipment such as eye protection. Willing to help out in other areas when needed and stop what them maybe doing to work on another job for shipping
Education:
• High School or GED
Experience:
• 0 - 2 (entry level) experience years on
• Basic computer skills
• Manufacturing processes knowledge is a plus
