Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Service Desk Operator for their Aurora, CO location.
What you'll get to do:
The Service Desk Operator resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.  Supports a rotating weekly on-call schedule which will include a daily enterprise standup where the candidate will represent the current state of our system to our customers.  Includes tracking anomalies through a DR process including gathering evidence and updating documentation in support of closure.  Also includes operational checkout of system functionality in testing and after major software configuration changes.
Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and 2 years of related work experience
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office
• Willing to work on-call shifts
• Independent worker with high motivation and engagement
• Willing to travel within the US and to the UK
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application
Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Linux OS and commands
• Familiar with antenna operations
• Adjudicated Poly
Salary Range: $42,600 - $71,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
