Summary
The Senior Pivotal Health Consultant serves as senior member of the broader Product team with end-to-end responsibilities for a designated line of products. The Senior Pivotal Health Consultant product line will be responsible for clients outside of current clients and have sales responsibilities into these clients of the products lines they manage. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated professional experience in the healthcare industry and will assist in the development, promotion, implementation, reporting, and ongoing maintenance of Pivotal Health products. This position will be recognized as a subject matter expert with client facing responsibilities to foster relationships with third party vendors, expand relationships with existing clients, and promote products to new business prospects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions
- Lead the research, development, tracking, and implementation of Pivotal Health products.
- Lead the promotion and presentation of designated products to existing clients and new prospects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success and plan sponsor adoption.
- Monitor product progress and provide regular updates and reporting to leadership.
- Meet revenue goals and expense budgets for designated product lines.
- Collaborate with BI team on the final design and marketing materials for current and future products.
- Educate internal teams on product details, benefits, and return on investment for plan sponsors.
- Work closely with project management teams to understand product requirements and timelines.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to gather and analyze data for prospect savings estimates and client outcomes reporting.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with various internal and external stakeholder.
- Identify areas for product improvement and contribute to the implementation of enhancements.
- Function as a liaison between different teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Lead internal product assessments to quantify product value and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Engage in the scoping and assessment of new external vendors to quantify product value.
Minimum Requirements for Education, Experience, and Certifications/Licenses
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Prefer 5+ years’ experience in PBM or related healthcare industry.
Qualifications & Skills
- High degree of professionalism.
- Ability to interpret industry policies and contract documents, proposals, and other documentation.
- Strong inter-personal and relationship skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and command of the English language
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as percentages, adding, subtracting, multiplying and division to required tasks.
- High degree of critical thinking, organizational and decision-making skills.
- High degree of initiative and passion to succeed.
- Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet objectives and deadlines established, often with short turnaround times.
- Ability to maintain positive and beneficial relationships with numerous internal departments, external customers, vendor agents, and subscribers.
- Proficient in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to comply with company confidentiality requirements as well as with HIPAA and other applicable government regulations.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 – $110,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
