The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career.

The Senior Motion Designer, Social will be responsible for creating visually engaging animations, graphics, and visual effects for various social media platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest; as well as editing internal brand videos. In addition, they will feel comfortable shooting video and photos to use in a range of assets and channels. This role involves collaborating with creative directors / art directors, copy and marketing, and translating creative concepts into compelling motion graphics. The candidate will need to be able to perform in fast paced and creative environment and develop outstanding motion design across a large variety of assets and projects. Familiarity with and a passion for social marketing and the HomeGoods brand is a must.

Conceptualize, storyboard, and execute high-quality motion designs that align with the project's objectives and brand guidelines.
Edit internal and social videos adding a level of excitement and elevation to every project.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to deliver innovative and impactful visual content.
Showcase expertise in animation software, design principles, and storytelling.
Handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and oversee the production process.
Shoot photos and videos to be used in various channels.
Collaborate effectively within a team, present ideas, take feedback, and address leadership requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field is required.
Experience: 5+ years in motion design, animation, social media, or related fields.
Portfolio: Robust showcase of a variety of projects demonstrating creativity, technical skills, motion work, and an understanding of design principles.
Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard motion design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects. Experience working in Cinema 4D is a plus.
Design Skills: Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, composition, and storytelling. Ability to create visually appealing and impactful animations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in motion graphics, visual effects, 2D/3D animation, compositing, and other relevant techniques. Knowledge of video editing and post-production processes.
Adaptability & Innovation: Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends, staying updated with the latest tools and techniques to create innovative and engaging motion designs.
Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail and a critical eye for quality, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
Self Driven: Ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly, in a fast-paced work environment.
Communication Skills: Must be dependable, positive, open-minded, and be able to clearly communicate both verbally and visually.
Industry Leader: Well-versed in the nuances of social media best practices across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest.

This position has a starting salary range of $72,100 to $91,800 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This role is hybrid requiring two days per week in the Framingham, MA office. This role is not open to remote.
