The Senior Director, Global Real World Evidence & Health Outcomes Research (GRE), US Collaborative Research and Pipeline will provide leadership identifying and engaging in strategic collaborative research that supports cross-portfolio interests in respiratory and anti-infectives. This rol will work with the cross-functional pipeline team to develop and execute a quality, strategically aligned research agenda, focused on relevant, high impact evidence package to demonstrate the value of pipeline assets in the US market in the assigned therapeutic area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop strong relationships with US customers across the healthcare system with access to real world data, research capability and interest in engaging in collaborative research
Lead value evidence and strategic team meetings
identify opportunities for impactful above brand collaborative research that is within medical, brand and access strategy
Ensure high impact collaborative research by applying appropriate study designs and research methods
Implementation of collaborative research by developing a real world evidence plan and designing studies with the external stakeholder.
Responsible for ensuring strategic alignment with key internal stakeholders (US medical, commercial, market access, GRE, Global medical affairs)
Partnering with the field medical team and US market access team to build collaborative real world research plan with the key customer accounts
Responsible for ensuring that collaborative research studies (e.g., retrospective database or chart review; meta-analysis/indirect comparison, prospective longitudinal) are executed and tracked appropriately.
Responsible for forming and leading matrix teams with the right expertise to bring the best of GSK to external collaborations, with the goal of developing a strategic collaborative research plan.
Provide evidence generation leadership and expertise to cross-functional pipeline team to inform early phase development activities, including execution of research studies that are critical to US market needs

Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
MS or PhD in health economics and outcomes research or related discipline (economics, sociology, epidemiology, other)
5+ years experience in pharmaceutical industry
Experience in reimbursement and access, health economics and/or outcomes research
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:

General Management experience
Strategic and tactical application of health outcomes research and therapeutic expertise in respiratory and/or anti-infectives
Business knowledge and application to problem solving
US reimbursement systems, healthcare market and decision-maker understanding
