Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:
Develops and implements network load balancing solutions. Administers load balancing technology systems by architecting and engineering/developing trusted systems into secure systems. Assists in the development of implementation and deployment plans that are aligned to the organizational strategic plan objectives and network security requirements. Advises management in developing network load balancing policies, processes, and procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Assists with day-to-day support of network solutions.
Assists with engineering support and system administration of specialized network solutions.
Solves complex problems and answers routine questions about the installation, operation, configuration, and customization of network software.
Identifies potential conflicts with the implementation of any network solutions.
Answers routine questions about the installation, operation, configuration, and customization of network solutions.
Reviews and analyzes appropriate network solution system logs for performance and functional anomalies.
Works with system design architects and project managers to provide security requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Experience: 5 years related experience or cybersecurity certification, and 3 years related experience.

Licenses/Certifications
CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional Upon Hire Preferred
CISM - Certified Information Security Manager Upon Hire Preferred
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Upon Hire Preferred
Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Upon Hire Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience with load balancing tools (F5 preferred)
3-5 year of experience with load balancing network traffic for applications and systems
Knowledge of and experience in VCMP technology, BIG-IQ deployment/automation.
Ability to configure trunking and failover HA pairs on VCMP Guests.
Experience in deploying, upgrading, and configuring BIG-IPve on VMware hypervisors.
Experience and knowledge in BIG-IP CLI, TMSH commands and Route Domain.
A plus if have experience with Application Visibility Reporting (AVR) troubleshooting tool.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

Ability to perform risk assessments and investigate cyber security incidents.
Ability to understand vulnerabilities at a technical level.
Knowledge of hardware and software, networks, data centers, systems, and cyber security related issues.
Strong critical thinking ability and investigative/problem solving skills.
Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $98,208 - $195,052
