Our association client in Silver Spring, MD, is looking for a Senior Brand and Campaign Manager to join their team on a 5-month contract with a high likelihood of extension. This position is 37.5 hours a week and ONSITE on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of developing engaging brand activations, including developing tool kits, managing projects and campaigns, communicating with various internal stakeholders and external organizations, and securing appropriate press coverage.
Duties of the Senior Brand and Campaign Manager:
- Develop a marketing campaign strategy for a national awareness week
- Develop campaign toolkits for various participants and organizations participating in activations
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and goals
- Work with external sponsors to execute the campaign
- Provide qualitative insights about campaign reach and impressions
- Provide regular reporting to leadership on campaign status
- Secure media and press coverage for nationwide activations
- Work with internal teams to develop creative collateral to engage target audiences and build awareness
- Work with local governments to obtain necessary approvals for activations
- Conduct a post-mortem of the campaign and provide recommendations to improve future activations/campaigns
Requirements of the Senior Brand and Campaign Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, etc
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and brand strategy
- Experience developing and executing brand activations and campaigns
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders with competing interests
- Experience securing press coverage for event or brand activations highly preferred
- Experience developing campaign and brand strategy
- Experience working with a PM tool i.e. Workfront, Asana etc is required
