The Assistant Pool Manager supports the daily operations of the Stillwater Pool and Stillwater Grill, working closely with the Pool Manager to ensure a safe, fun, and efficient environment for both guests and colleagues.

This seasonal leadership role helps oversee all aspects of poolside service, cleanliness, safety, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or lead experience in hospitality or recreation, and demonstrate a proactive, guest-focused approach.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Pool Manager in supervising daily operations of the Stillwater Pool and Stillwater Grill.
Help lead and support the team of pool attendants, servers, and bartenders to ensure exceptional service.
Monitor guest safety and satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly and professionally.
Oversee set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the pool area and dining outlets.
Support onboarding, training, and development of seasonal colleagues.
Ensure compliance with pool safety procedures and food handling standards.
Collaborate with engineering and housekeeping teams to uphold facility standards.
Assist with scheduling, inventory control, and supply ordering.
Help coordinate seasonal programming and poolside events in partnership with other departments.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or recreation, with previous leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Strong communication, teamwork, and guest service skills.
Knowledge of pool safety, food service operations, or lifeguard experience a plus.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Willingness to obtain any necessary certifications (e.g., Food Handler, Alcohol Awareness, CPR).
