Andaz Maui at Wailea
Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand. Situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline, the 15-acre beachfront resort is located along Mokapu Beach in Wailea, one of the most sought-after leisure and resort destinations in the world. The luxury resort community of Wailea includes a 1.2-mile-long oceanfront beach path connecting five crescent-shaped, golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center and distinguished restaurants. The Salon Lead will be the operator in charge for the salon at the beautiful Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort Awili Spa and will work closely with the Director, Assistant Director, Massage Lead, and Spa Supervisor to ensure smooth operational balance. This includes but is not limited to collaborating on products, salon specials, and marketing initiatives, developing, training and supervising salon associates, and working with the events team and bridal parties to ensure seamless bridal experiences. In addition, the Salon Lead will be responsible for placing orders, keeping inventory of product, and special events. Salon lead will also work closely with the Spa host team to review booking schedule and keep associates and menu updated. This position is responsible for the set up, maintenance, upkeep and cleanliness of the Salon and its equipment.

Starting pay is $17 per hour plus commissions

Qualifications
- Maintain Cosmetology License under State of Hawaii
- Luxury Salon Experience minimum 2-3 years
- Refined verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must be able to work variable work shifts in the week including weekends and holidays
