As a Respiratory Transformation Manager, you will be responsible to provide oversight and direction of the Zebulon site Respiratory Transformation as defined by site strategy across all value streams to enhance production success rate as measured through increase OEE and capacity, reduction of deviations, and reduction in OPEX spend.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Zebulon Respiratory Transformation plan focusing on sustainable improvements driving manufacturing robustness while maintaining high quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee development and implementation of Ellipta capacity and efficiency improvement plans.
  • Lead MDPI facility transformation project including expansion and removal of capital and equipment.
  • Align Ellipta production improvement goals and OEE improvement program, report out progress and escalate issue to site and above site stakeholders.
  • Lead implementation of approved scope including but not limited to documentation, training, automation, engineering and production process improvements.
  • Prioritize initiatives to optimize impact and minimize rework.
  • Work with capital engineering managers and value stream leadership team to identify and mitigate implementation, technical and regulatory risks pertaining to program elements.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, master’s degree (MS/MA, MBA)
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical production experience with 2+ years’ experience supervising/managing direct reports.
  • Experience in current Good Manufacturing Practices environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science related field
  • Experience with Operational Excellence and process analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated Problem solving by applying fundamental engineering, scientific and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience in device assembly and manufacturing processes or manufacturing or similar technology (e.g., vaccine manufacturing)
  • Conflict resolution and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work well under high pressure and deadlines.
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and a strong team player.
  • Proven experience in delivering change through continuous improvement systems (OE or GPS equivalent)
  • Leadership experience with proven capability of developing teams and individuals to achieve high performance.
  • Proven demonstration of ability to work in direct line management and matrix teams.
  • Proven ability to work in more than one discipline showing learning agility and flexibility.
  • Experience with FDA inspections including presenting to inspectors during audits.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities and hold team members accountable.
