Part-Time Research Technician Associate
The Health and Retirement Study housed at the Survey Research Center (SRC) within the internationally recognized Institute for Social Research ( ISR) supports multiple research projects surrounding aging, health, and economic circumstances. We are looking for a part-time (50%) entry-level, flexible, and detail-oriented candidate to join our Data Processing Team.

Responsibilities*
Reporting to the Ancillary Data Manager, you will provide technical support by completing data entry/coding activities and data management tasks. On any given day, you may find yourself entering or coding newly collected data, assisting with the creation of clean, standardized data and documentation for archival and public release purposes, or assisting with the creation of datasets derived from existing data and preparing that data for public release. Required Qualifications*
We'd like to hear from you if you have:
- Associate's degree in a social science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One or more years of experience related to the tasks of the position using longitudinal survey data
- Proficiency with basic office software for documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and relational databases (Access is desired)
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn SAS software for data management
Work Locations
We offer flexibility for hybrid work within our overall Center guidelines. Flexible work guidelines for this position are 100% in-office for the training period. After completing the training period, there is the possibility of hybrid or remote work.
