Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Regional Marketing Manager in Houston, TX.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and executing business unit marketing programs that drive company sales performance in the assigned business unit and generate leads and awareness in sufficient volume to meet sales and EBITDA goals. Working with the Senior Regional Marketing Manager, this position is part of the team serving as the primary liaison and information source for all marketing programs for the business unit.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Implement and lead integrated co-op marketing plans that are aligned with business unit and national marketing strategies:
- In collaboration with sales team and local distributors, participate in the business unit co-op planning process to develop, recommend, and implement distributor co-op plans.
- Participate in annual distributor DAPP marketing meetings and assist distributors in creating an annual co-op utilization plan.
- Participate in regular meetings with each BU distributor to review co-op utilization.
- Communicate and coordinate local value-added market specific opportunities.
- Drive usage of recommended creative for business unit and co-op promotions.
- Develop and implement local marketing programs to drive top line business unit sales performance for market:
- Assess BU and/or local customer needs to customize messaging and adoption of national marketing programs.
- Responsible for developing tactics for the company's business unit regional marketing programs based on national marketing programs, including planning the scope of campaigns, developing content, execution, and measurement.
- Work directly with individual sales team members and the entire sales team to drive campaigns resulting in strong lead opportunities for BU distributors and contractors.
- Manage project timelines for business unit marketing projects, ensuring that all activities occur as planned and that campaigns are executed.
- Provide input for future national programs based on, market research, business unit needs and customer insights.
Dealer marketing:
- Communicate new marketing tools, programs, and changes to existing programs to business unit sales team, distributors, and contractors.
- Actively engage with DCs and DPs to help them grow their business and sell more METUS products through marketing consults, website review, content creation, webinars and in person marketing training sessions.
Participation improvement and shared best practices in business unit and national marketing strategy planning sessions:
- Participate in best practice sharing meetings and information forums among other business unit marketing team members and National Marketing to leverage learnings.
- Represent business unit customer and market needs in national strategy planning sessions.
- Identify and participate in business unit event, speaking and sponsorship opportunities (association events, sales road shows, seminars/webinars, etc.).
- Willing to travel up to 50 % to for various Company meetings and training both domestically and possibly internationally
- Perform other Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or Business preferred.
- MBA with Marketing and Advertising focus is a plus.
- 5 years of relevant business experience with an emphasis on field marketing, HVAC industry experience a plus.
- 5 years Field marketing experience with responsibility for driving strategies and plans, measuring and reporting success.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting a sales staff.
- Demonstrated success in managing and completing marketing projects on time and at or under budget.
- Strong presentation and public speaking and written communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $104,000 and $143,000per year, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
