Role Description: Responsible for the entire spectrum of quality management: control, assurance and regulatory compliance. ISO updates and compliance, manufacturing and SOP's validation and checks , engage in new product development, provide R&D support as required from time to time Essential Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all aspects of quality assurance, quality control and culture and Bio Assy laboratories
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards such as ISO 9001, FDA regulations and other applicable guidelines.
Ensure products consistently meet established standards.
Lead and develop department staff.
Liaising with managers and other departments to understand and implement quality requirements. Foster a culture of quality through the organization.
Analyze data and identify areas for improvement; develop & recommend action plans.
Establish/monitor and control Hold for Inspection (HFI) procedures to ensure nonconforming materials do not enter the production process via identification and segregation.
Lead engagement via participation in cross-functional project team activities.

Skills, Qualifications, Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Science required. Entomology, Plant pathology or microbiology preferred.
Experience in a quality assurance/quality control role. Prefer 5-15 years.
Experience with ISO quality systems preferred.
5 years' experience managing a team of technicians
Experience with biological systems, mice serological testing & insect assays preferred.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and SPC (statistical process control), various testing/ troubleshooting methods.
Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
