Apex Systems, America’s second largest technical staffing firm, has a 12 month contract opening for an ONSITE Purchasing Project Manager with a client in Greensboro, NC. This is a fast-paced, cutting edge environment offering room for advancement, professional and technical growth and long term stability. Quick Overview:

Title: Purchasing Project Manager

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Location: ONSITE Greensboro, NC, with frequent travel to Mexico

Hours: 8:00A-5:00P

Responsibilities:

As a part of the cross functional team, be the voice of Purchasing in all aspects.
Steer the project activities through active leadership and constant communication towards stakeholders in purchasing and other functions.
Ensure supplier selection according to project plans.
Work with supplier project team to review project deliverables related to supply chain and parts.
Work with project managers to contribute and secure the purchasing time plan to assure alignment with main time plan with all purchasing needs addressed.
Identify and secure purchasing related risk mitigation plans and actions and document and communicate between project team and supplier.
Work with project team to prepare necessary project status, management project reviews and/or steering committee documents and presentations.
