Summary of Responsibilities:

Energize your career at ATC! We’re hiring a Project Outage Coordinator to secure transmission system operation by studying and coordinating planned transmission equipment outages and collaborate with internal groups to address transmission issues related to long-term construction outage planning.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll use your associate’s degree or a minimum of three years’ experience in various phases of interconnected electrical system operations work to coordinate and communicate with project teams regarding system needs, system limitations and impacts of proposed construction activities and perform, analyze and interpret detailed steady state analysis to determine the effect of proposed construction outages on the reliability of the transmission system and use a variety of software tools and analytical approaches, such as complex power flow and contingency analysis, to support various operational needs.

You’ll also analyze historical outage data and trends to inform future planning and scheduling, communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align outage schedules and sequencing to meet deadlines and in-service dates and perform, or participate in, transmission outage coordination studies with neighboring transmission owners and/or MISO and communicate with impacted stakeholders.
