Project Manager, Procurement
You will be a part of the dynamic Procurement team in our Sleep & Respiratory Care business, engaging and developing impactful projects to transform our supply chain to reduce risk, increase agility, reduce cost, and develop value propositions to drive top line performance via supply-chain solutions.
Your role:
Representing Procurement and driving impactful initiatives to reduce supply-risk, increase supply-agility, reduce cost, and unlock revenue growth opportunities for a fast-paced Sleep & Respiratory Care business.
Deep knowledge of long-term structural cost drivers for an assigned product/category to understand negotiation levers and achievement of first-time right costing of sourced materials & services.
Lead supplier selection process by effective use of sourcing-grids to objectively and subjectively propose business award to Philips’s material and service suppliers.
Drive savings in close cooperation with Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commodity Management.
Deliver significant contributions to business cases steered towards supply-base risk reduction, agility, cost, and revenue growth.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree required, in a relevant technical discipline is highly preferred
5+ years consistent professional track record in a relevant Procurement discipline
Experience in managing and proposing business award via a supplier selection process, initiating and driving cost down projects.
Experience in contracting with new and/or existing material and service suppliers
Experience in DfX, Value Engineering, LEAN or Six Sigma
Experience
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
Project management skills (been able to manage timelimes, budgets, crossfunctional teams).

Please note: Due to the consolidation of our sites, this role will start at the Bakery Square office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will move to another site in the greater Pittsburgh area by the end of the year. This change will bring our teams in western Pennsylvania closer together to remain competitive and committed to our customers, clinicians, and patients and create value with sustainable impact.
