Project Control Analyst
- Locations:Canonsburg, PA; Denver, CO; Tulsa, OK
- Contract Length: 12+ months
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week)
About the Role:As a vital member of our team, you'll be the backbone supporting our Project Managers in executing capital projects. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and compliance. You'll work closely with Project Managers (PMs) to track project costs, manage accruals, and keep our financial processes running smoothly.
What You'll Do:
- Financial Oversight:Take charge of setting up, tracking, forecasting, and reporting on project finances.
- Cost Management:Keep a keen eye on project expenditures and guide the team through budget adjustments if needed.
- Accrual Management:Handle monthly accruals, ensuring they are submitted on time.
- PM Collaboration:Schedule meetings with PMs to discuss expected costs and outstanding accruals.
- Forecasting:Collaborate with Project Managers and vendors for precise monthly project cost predictions.
- Budgeting:Lead the preparation and submission of financial documents, ensuring accuracy in budget, assets, and expenses.
- Reporting:Handle monthly financial reporting and provide insights to our Fixed Assets team.
- Project Engagement:Be actively involved in all project phases, from the drawing board to the final ribbon-cutting.
Who We're Looking For:
- Financial Acumen:Strong understanding of project financials, accruals, and forecasting.
- Communication Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with PMs and other stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented:A stickler for accuracy and precision.
- Deadline-Driven:Thrives under pressure and meets corporate-set deadlines.
- Communication Maestro:Exceptional verbal and written skills to interact effectively across all company levels.
- Relationship Builder:A natural at forging strong connections across various departments to ensure comprehensive cost reporting.
Your Credentials:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Knowledge of MS Project or similar project tracking tools
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerBI
- Nice to have: SAP knowledge
- 4+ years of Oil & Gas or related industry experience
Travel Expected: Occasional
