Job Summary
The Center for Math Education is seeking student assistants for the Fall 2024 term. The Center forMathematics Education is dedicated to offering after school mathematical outreach activities in the Dearborn community. Student assistants will help organize and run these after school programs, and serve as mentors in these schools.What You'll Do
Run after school tutoring programs at partner schools that focus on mathematics and other STEM topics.
Responsibilities*
- Arrive at schools on time for programs
- Coordinate with Dina Shohatee and Professor Zeytuncu about content
- Maintain a strong relationship with the teacher and administrators at the school where the program is run
Work Schedule
4-6 hours a week.
Modes of Work

Pay Scale $20/hourBackground Screening
