Purpose of Position:

To manufacture the highest quality product, according to Company and Customer's specifications as efficiently and economically as possible.

• This position will be second shift after training. Candidate may be required to work a different shift pattern from time to time as the activity changes. Longer term (as opportunities arise) there is potential to move to other shifts.

Major Responsibilities - Ongoing Tasks

• Welding with a handheld torch.
• Monitoring and managing fiberizing equipment.
• Converting produced fiber into yarns of different weights (similar to thread).
• Loading and unloading drying ovens.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Visually and through testing ensure material produced meets customer expectations.
• Complete production reports including quantities produced and materials consumed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer skills for production data entry, required
• QAD experience, a plus
• Minimum of three to five years of experience with mixing/blending/pressing operations, preferred.
