Position Summary:
Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team in the Program Management Office as a Production Control Intern. This position will be responsible to create and follow a variety of standard processes in the daily management of production support while making process decisions. This position also will be required in managing projects implementing new systems, processes, or other system improvements. Qualified candidates should have knowledge in parts management, Conveyance, and BOM management, and understanding of manufacturing processes. They should also have moderate to advanced organizational skills, effective personal communication skills, an advanced computer usage aptitude, and the ability analyze data.
Essential Position Duties:
In this role you will perform functions including:
- Develop new tools for scheduling group to help automate processes
- Visualize data to measure KPI more effectively, create new Power BI boards
- Help create standard template for model launch activities
- Paper reduction activities
- Evaluate and Improve resourcing activities
- AS400 improvement activities
Education & Experience:
- Pursuing degree in Supply Chain
- Proficient with MS Office applications and highly talented in Excel
- Experience with production planning systems, MRP, Kanban, and Just-In-Time inventory techniques is preferred
- Ability to adapt easily to change and work in a fast-paced environment, acting with sense of urgency
- Strong analytical and problem solving ability
