A Day in the Life:
The Product Support Engineer will play a critical role for providing technical support for the Risk & Commercial Analytics systems including data warehouse, web applications and BI reports. This involves troubleshooting, resolving customer issues, collaborating with development teams, and contributing to product improvements and regular product maintenance.
What You'll be Doing:
Provide technical support, addressing addressed inquiries and resolving issues related to the data availability, quality, and Oracle APEX interface.
Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot complex technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with development teams to escalate bugs, provide feedback on product improvements, and ensure seamless communication between support and engineering.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and technical manuals, to empower customers and internal teams.
Proactively monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement preventative measures to maintain optimal service levels.
Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely communication with end users and issue resolution resulting in customer satisfaction.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide needed support coverage within EU and US business hours and occasionally during weekend upgrades and product deployments.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to help coordinate activities in preparing data and data transfer processes required for defined project scope.
Participate in the Knowledge Database building process, by adding new content based on the solved case, and define best practiced to assure Business Continuity.
Contribute to the development of automated tools and scripts to streamline support processes and improve efficiency.
Skills/Experience Requirements:
5+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (fluent English required).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
