Full Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Product Manager is responsible for driving business strategies within SNF and focusing on improving the overall customer experience. The Product Manager is responsible for the product lifecycle and collating and communicating business needs to communicate internally within SNF. The role will also include ensuring the overall product portfolio supports the strategy and goals of SNF and meets customer and market expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product offering and customer base.
- Understand the customer experience, identify gaps that lead to negative experiences, and address them as necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date forecast for all current businesses and identify potential supply gaps before occurrence.
- Coordinate and interface with the businesses for new product setup and ensure all new product development is brought to commercialization successfully.
- Scope and prioritize the current customer base and work to quantify the total addressable market for each business unit.
- Update, develop, and maintain product and core product selection guides for all marketed products for SNF US.
- Analyze the current competitive landscape and generate market intelligence reports that can be shared with Sales and Senior Leadership.
- Provide technical support to sales and customers for products produced.
- Collaborate with internal groups to identify and resolve capacity, supply, or logistical constraints to maintain and grow customer base.
- Work with quality assurance to understand systemic customer needs that are not met and collaborate with internal groups to resolve them.
- Communicate with SNF global partners to develop and understand the international business strategy and aid in new product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technical field or business (or equivalent experience). MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of five years combined experience in Sales, R&D, Production, or another area in which technical knowledge of similar chemistries was acquired.
- Excellent organizational skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate technical details effectively to internal and external customers with varying technical expertise.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Excel and Power BI.
- Strong analytical skills and data manipulation are preferred.
- A strong customer focus with the ability to support sales and gain cooperation and respect from various internal groups.
- Experience in collaborating with internal and external senior-level management.
- Ability to travel as needed.
