To manage the buying process for a given set of goods. Apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.

Partner with the best

As a Procurement Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Placing and following-up on POs.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
  • Managing problems and scheduling changes as needed to make corrections or modifications based upon outcome of negotiations and like discussions. Update ERP.
  • Detecting and signaling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
  • Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
  • Contributing to projects as needed. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months

To be successful as a Procurement Specialist you will:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
