As a Cross-Functional Program Manager, you will collaborate with engineering leadership to advance key cloud platform initiatives, driving MathWorks towards its SaaS vision. This role requires strong program and project management skills, a good understanding of software development processes, the ability to communicate effectively to senior management, and coordinate with diverse teams across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Ensure project plans align with broader organizational goals. Developroadmaps and guide teams toward achieving their plans using agile best practices
- Facilitate collaboration with diverse product teamsto manage change and dependencies seamlessly.
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, and develop contingency plans in partnership with development leads to minimize impact
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders at all levels, fostering transparency and informed decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement by leading problem-solving activities, streamlining processes, and promoting the adoption of standardsand best practices.
- Define and leverage metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Engineering, Math, or Science
- Good understanding of cloud native principles, DevOps and SRE methodologies, and SaaS implementations; Ability to actively participate in and contribute to technical discussions
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, even without direct authority
- Experience leading initiatives and driving change across multiple teams and departments
- Experience with Agile software development practices
- Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
