Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Finance Analyst / Senior Principal Finance Analyst to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located at the Baltimore, MD, Huntsville, AL, or Fort Worth, TX campus. This position is supporting the Battlefield Airborne Communications Node (BACN) Financial Planning and Reporting Organization.
Candidate will have the following, but not limited to, responsibilities:

•         Lead forecasting process with emphasis on accuracy and predictability.
•         Performs economic research and studies subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements.
•         Responsible for monthly forecast and status updates related to income statement, awards, and backlog.
•         Prepare the rolling forecast monthly deliverables and variance reports.
•         Ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial deliverables related to quarterly Estimates at Complete (EAC).
•         Prepare the Division EAC scorecard report.
•         Validate profit plans are aligned with quarterly EACs and trouble-shoot errors and course corrections.
•         Prepare and validate backlog adjustments and total division backlog are accurate.
•         Lead annual backlog reviews and validations on closed programs.
•         Continually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies.
Basic Qualifications: Principal Finance Analyst:
•         Bachelors with 6 Years experience in financial analysis or similar fields with Masters with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•         Experience with SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana
•         Experience with Microsoft Office with Excel (including Macros, Pivot tables and V-Look ups)
•         Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite
Basic Qualifications: Senior Principal Finance Analyst:
•         Bachelors with 10 Years experience in financial analysis or similar fields with Masters with 8 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•         Experience with SAP HANA or SAP S/4 Hana
•         Experience with Microsoft Office with Excel (including Macros, Pivot tables and V-Look ups)
•         Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite
Preferred Qualifications:
•         Active DoD Secret level security clearance
•         Bachelors with 6 Years experience in financial analysis or similar fields with Masters with 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
•         Experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX)
•         Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
•         Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
•         Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
•         Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS
Salary Range: $84,600 - $157,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
