About the Role
Canon Financial Services in Mount Laurel, NJ is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst (Analyst, Pricing). The Pricing Analyst supports all operational aspects of the CFS Strategic Pricing Group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of company's pricing activities.
- Evaluates special pricing requests submitted on behalf of existing and potential customers
- Assist in the development of quarterly rate card pricing
- Assist in providing financial/pricing support to the business
- Assist in developing ad hoc reporting needs to better track volume and yield trends
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Your Impact
- Provide regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and reporting for management
- Present to senior management at the CFS Quarterly Pricing Meetings regarding upcoming rates and promotions
- Assist with the collection of market based pricing intelligence for all Canon products
- Monitor and issue quarterly rate card business and price large competitive deals
- Assist with the forecasting of spend for new programs or changes to existing programs
- Track the CFS spend related to subsidized programs and monitor the performance of the programs
- Assist with the periodic reviews of the company's residual performance and provide recommendations to management on the residual booking policy
- Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required
- Assist with the development of new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary
- Assist with the operational aspects of the captive insurance program, including monthly reporting needs on performance
- Assist in monitoring the new business yield, mix and profitability as well as portfolio performance. Track the cost of fund and pricing model assumptions that are used in the risk-based pricing model
- Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers with a focus on building customer loyalty
- Provide reporting and analysis to support CFS Reserve Balances
- Assist with the tracking and monitoring of CFS Syndication initiatives
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience
- Certification Preferred: Masters Degree or CFA
- Experience Required: 1-3 year pricing experience or related experience, 1+ years of pricing experience in the financial services industry preferred (Leasing experience strongly preferred); financial modeling experience preferred; SAP BusinessObjects experience preferred but not required
