POSITION SUMMARY:

Maintains garden area that grows exceptional fruit, vegetables, and herbs with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Follow and observe all safe gardening practices
Cultivate and fertilize plants, shrubs, and trees
Prepares soil for planting and conducts planting operations
Order materials as needed
Maintains equipment and tools in operating condition
Responsible for vegetable rotation and plant health
Responsible for irrigation schedule and monitoring
Operates equipment including ATV tractor, rotor tiller, and all gardening hand tools
Maintains a groomed garden by general clean up, weeding, pruning, and staking
Work with livestock as assigned (chickens, horses, etc.)
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 1 year gardening experience
Knowledge and skill level to operate all gardening equipment
Greenhouse and nursery knowledge
Good verbal communication skills
Basic English is desirable
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs on a repetitive basis.
Must be able to work in a kneeling, crouching, or bending position for extended periods of time.
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions (heat, humidity, cold)
Must be able to work overtime as needed

WAGE TRANSPARENCY:The base pay for this role ranges from $23.66 - $27.80 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.BENEFITS:
