Onboarding Specialist - Hybrid

If you want to make a difference…. join our HR team! We are searching for an Onboarding Specialist who wants to be part of an organization that makes a difference in the lives of others.
In this vital position, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for comprehensive employee onboarding processes including communication with all new employees and interns, processing new hire/intern/volunteer paperwork, and entry of hire data into HR systems. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with the TA team, division leadership, & managers to ensure timely and consistent onboarding practices.
In addition, the Onboarding Specialist completes initial I-9 employment verifications and enters data into E-Verify and HR systems for tracking purposes as well as coordinates and manages the Employee Referral Bonus program.
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours
- Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm
Location: Hybrid with travel to Dedham office and Rhode Island/Massachusetts based events as needed

Required Skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and complete complex projects efficiently, effectively and on time
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and database programs required; experience with HR systems strongly preferred
- Ability to present to a large group of people
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Three to five years of administrative experience required; minimum of one-year Human Resources experience preferred
- Experience in non-profit organizations and mid to large-sized organizations preferred
