Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Media Buyer to join our growing team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of both traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (programmatic, paid social, search, streaming) media buying. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Media Buyer to join our growing team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of both traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH) and digital (programmatic, paid social, search, streaming) media buying. This role requires strong negotiation skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute media buying strategies across traditional and digital channels.
- Negotiate rates and secure optimal media placements with vendors and partners.
- Analyze market trends, audience insights, and campaign performance to optimize buys.
- Manage budgets, track spending, and report on campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, creative, analytics) to align media plans with business goals.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and new advertising technologies.
- Maintain relationships with media vendors and partners to ensure competitive pricing and added value for clients.
- 3-5+ years of experience in media buying across traditional and digital channels.
- Strong knowledge of media research tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, DSPs).
- Experience in negotiating contracts and media rates.
- Proficiency in campaign tracking, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with media buying platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, Google Ads, Meta, broadcast buying platforms) is a plus.
