We are looking for a Material Handler/Shipper to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Responsible for the handling of all outgoing inventory and maintaining the highest levels of inventory accuracy and in order fulfillment.
• Duties to picking, packing and shipping of all materials in accordance with AMETEK policies and procedures on a timely basis.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counting of inventory to AMETEK requirements.
• Excellent communication and people skills are required, both oral and written.
• Must be willing to work overtime and/or weekend operations hours as needed.
• Other duties deemed necessary by business conditions.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Computer Literacy with Email, ERP System
• Warehouse/Storeroom experience
• Knowledge of Small Parcel Companies
• Ability to lift 65 lbs.
• Communication Skills

• Reports to Logistics and Compliance Manager

ASSIGNMENT AND REVIEW OF WORK

• Sales Orders are printed as they are entered or eligible to be shipped.
• Orders are Packed and Shipped after 3-way verification of correct parts are pulled and shipped.

DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY

• In the absence of direct supervision, the expectation is that this position will be able to make decisions after consulting with the Manufacturing Manager.

MOST CHALLENGING PART OF THE JOB

• Workload balance at various parts of the Month.
• Completing all picking, packing and shipping activities prior to the Transportation Companies scheduled pickup times.
